Perhaps the best thing about completing a tax return is the prospect of getting a refund. And what makes a refund even better is having your cash within days, rather than weeks. Simply choose direct deposit for your refund to have access to the money within 14 days. Starting in January 2007, the IRS has enhanced its direct deposit options. You can choose to have your refund split among a maximum of three accounts. This way, for example, you can earmark money for your savings, checking and retirement accounts. You need to complete Form 8888 and submit it with your return to use this option. If you decide to have all of your refund directly deposited into one account, just indicate it on the appropriate line of the Form 1040 series. To take advantage of direct deposit you must provide the IRS with your account number(s) and SESLOC FCU's routing number. Our routing number is 322282713 or you can locate it at the bottom left of your checks (right before your account number). |
