International Credit Union Day 
Who owns your credit union? You do! Each year on International Credit Union Day, credit union members worldwide celebrate the economic democracy and equal ownership rights of each credit union member. This year credit unions and cooperatives around the globe will share the theme, "It Belongs to Me." According to Pete Crear, President and CEO for the World Council of Credit Unions, "Credit Unions thrive due to their focus on serving members. In many countries, cooperatives are not only the best way to meet members' financial needs, they're often the only way." At SESLOC we use this day each year to show our appreciation to our members.
