Board of Directors Candidates

Anthony S. Cangelosi – Incumbent Member since 1999

I am honored to have served on the SESLOC Board of Directors and various committees since 2007. I am committed to setting policy that will enable SESLOC to continue to move forward with sound financial condition. As an active member of my local and national trade associations, I keep up-to-date on financial news including tax laws and trends in consumer economics that drive demands of main street consumers who rely on credit unions and demand the highest level of service and commitment. My professional background makes me especially qualified to serve on the Board. I have a Cal Poly business administration degree and I am a real estate broker, certified real estate appraiser and certified public accountant.

Jacquie Paulsen – Incumbent Member since 1976

I am privileged to have served on the SESLOC Board of Directors
since 1989, the last two years as Treasurer. Prior to this, I served on
the Credit Committee for seven years. My goals continue to be that I am approachable to all, listen to members' and employees' concerns and make decisions after considering all issues. In college, I majored in business and finance and then worked five years in the banking industry and 24 years at Cal Poly. I love the credit union's philosophy of "people helping people" and SESLOC's commitment to safety and soundness.
I would consider it an honor to continue serving on the board on
your behalf.

James J. Selfridge – Member since 2001

I started a landscaping business during high school and earned my first contractor's license while working and going to college. I served six years in the military and five years with Motorola Communications Division. The large corporation made me long for my working independence. I started three small businesses to support my family of three children (landscaping, electronic contracting and commercial property management). Thirty years later I have a successful electronics systems integration business operating in five counties. Great employees now limit the demands on my time. I currently serve as President of the Board for United Cerebral Palsy and Ride On Transportation. I have the time and desire to do more.

Pauline Shaffer – Incumbent Member since 1958

I became a member of the Board of Directors in 1985 and have held the positions of Secretary and Treasurer. I have also served as a member and Chair of the Supervisory Committee for six years. I am a graduate of Juniata College, served as faculty member of the Cal Poly Home Economics Department for nine years and retired as the Catering Manager/ Nutritionist for the Cal Poly Corporation. After completing additional business courses, I now do accounting and income taxes. Serving as a Director of SESLOC Federal Credit Union has provided a very special opportunity for me to contribute and to support a fine financial institution.
