It Pays to Know Your Limits
Your Visa® Check Card carries the Visa logo, but it is actually a debit card. Debit means “subtract,” and when you use it, money is electronically subtracted from your checking account. You can use it like a Visa card and sign for purchases, or use it like an ATM card and enter your PIN. Because it’s a debit card, it has daily withdrawal limits, the same way an ATM card does.Daily Withdrawal Limits
ATM card limits are the same, except ATM cards cannot be used at Visa terminals. Daily withdrawal limits are based on a 24-hour period beginning at midnight California time, so you’ll need to know what time it is in California if you’re making daily withdrawals. Locate a no-surcharge, deposit-taking ATM: (888) SITE-COOP (888) 748-3266 or www.sesloc.org/locations |
