More Members Embrace Electronic Statements

In 2008, SESLOC generated nearly a half million regular account statement pages. Fortunately, more than 17% never reached the mail truck. These statements were encrypted and retrieved electronically over SESLOC's secure online connection.

Ink never met paper, tires never met asphalt, and exhaust fumes never mingled with air to deliver these statements. Visa® card holders surpassed this mark, as 20% received statements electronically and paid through online transfers between accounts, saving countless hours, envelopes, stamps and checks.

As California moves toward stricter greenhouse gas regulations in 2012, SESLOC members are increasing their use of this cleaner, safer way to receive their financial statements. We expect to see these numbers grow
in 2009.

In 2008, construction began on a new, expanded Arroyo Grande / Five Cities branch on East Grand Avenue.
