Courtesy Pay

An Overdraft Protection Program

When you don’t have sufficient funds available in your checking account, including any overdraft protection plans you have established, Courtesy Pay can protect you from returned checks and pre-authorized electronic debits by advancing funds against your future deposits.* This protects your credit and avoids the inconvenience of a declined transaction. For fees associated with Courtesy Pay, view our Consumer Fee Schedule.

Courtesy Pay Protection Extended Benefits

*Your account must be open for at least 90 days to qualify for Courtesy Pay Protection and is automatic for qualified members. Courtesy Pay occurs when you do not have enough money in your checking account, or any other overdraft protection plan you have established, to cover a transaction and we pay it anyway. We pay overdrafts at our sole discretion, which means that we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined. If you also want us to authorize and pay overdrafts on everyday/one-time debit card transactions, you must opt in by visiting any SESLOC branch or in Online Banking. Please see the complete Courtesy Pay Agreement and Disclosure for eligiblity and adminstration of the Courtesy Pay program.
