SESLOC Technical Operations Manager Angie Macias, AAP, NCP, is recognized as a “15 Under 40” award winner by Nacha, the governing body of the United States’ ACH payments network, providing Direct Deposits and Direct Payments to bank and credit union account holders across the country. Macias is one of only 15 people nationwide earning the award in 2026.

Macias is recognized among the top performers in the industry for her dedication to reducing fraud risk and modernizing payments, ensuring SESLOC members receive fast, safe and secure access to both sending and receiving money. Macias says she is passionate “about helping SESLOC stay competitive in the evolving payments landscape and contributing to industry-wide conversations around modernization and risk management.”

“This recognition is meaningful for SESLOC as it highlights the strength of our expertise in an area that is critical to our member-owners and our operations,” said Rachel Nielson, Vice President of Operations at SESLOC Credit Union. “This award reinforces our commitment to providing strong, compliant, and innovative payment services that help members bank with confidence.”

Nacha governs the thriving ACH Network, the payment system that drives safe, smart, and fast Direct Deposits and Direct Payments with the capability to reach all U.S. bank and credit union accounts. Nacha develops rules and standards, provides industry solutions, and delivers education, accreditation, and advisory services. The organization also administers the annual “15 Under 40” awards, with nominations reviewed by a committee of industry experts.

Macias’ career path at SESLOC reflects the leadership and impact recognized by the award. Starting as a teller, she advanced through roles in Deposit Services and Fraud & Systems before being promoted to Technical Operations Manager. In her current role, she works toward enhancing efficiency, strengthening security, reducing fraud, and improving the SESLOC member experience. She holds AAP and NCP accreditations.

With the honors, Macias says she looks forward to contributing to industry initiatives while mentoring emerging financial services professionals. Her goals include shaping the best practices that benefit SESLOC’s members and the broader credit union community.
