I Love My Credit Union Day
I Love My Credit Union Day
Thank You for Another Great Event!
I Love My Credit Union Day will return in 2025
We joined credit unions across the nation for I Love My Credit Union Day on Friday, July 26, 2024 in celebration of what it means to be a part of a credit union. The credit union difference is what sets us apart from other financial institutions. We are not-for-profit, community-based, federally insured and most importantly, we are owned by YOU — our loyal member-owners.
I Love Credit Union Day may be over, but we believe in celebrating the credit union spirit and the members that make this place so special. Stay tuned for more Member Appreciation Days in the future, and we look forward to celebrating I Love My Credit Union Day again next July.
Thank you for being a member
We couldn’t do it without you.
Members Celebrated I Love My Credit Union Day in 2024
Everyone is so nice, efficient and knows their stuff. Been a member since about 1973.
No matter what branch I enter, there is an instant familiarity. There is always a pleasant interaction with any SESLOC employee I have dealt with.
Out of all the banks I’ve used over 40+ years, SESLOC Credit Union has been better than any/all of them. Nice to have reliability day to day. Thanks!! 😊
I have been with SESLOC since the late 1980’s and though I have moved a time or two or three or four since then, I keep this as my primary bank. I can not leave them because I TRUST THEM! TRUST is why I love my credit union.
I feel safe banking with SESLOC. I know I won’t be taken advantage of and that my money is safe. I recommend SESLOC often to family and friends who want to bank with a reputable credit union. Thanks!

The Future is Financial: SESLOC Educates High School Students About the Importance of Budgeting
On Monday, May 20, SESLOC Credit Union hosted a hands-on, real-world living and budgeting simulation event for 70 students at Central Coast New Tech High School in Nipomo. For this event, SESLOC partnered with Bite of Reality, an app that presents real-life scenarios of maintaining a budget, to improve the financial health and wellness of the Central Coast.
Thank You For Supporting Our Local Food Banks!
SESLOC hosted a fundraiser for local food banks in May for the fourth year in a row. SESLOC, employees, and members raised over $15,000 combined for the SLO Food Bank and Food Bank of Santa Barbara County. Each dollar donated buys enough food for 8 meals, thanks to the Food Banks’ network of partners.
Education Grants Support Hands-on Learning
SESLOC Education Grants provide funding to support innovation and expand supplies at local K-12 schools. Here’s how a few teachers recently used grants to support their students’ return to the classroom:
