Seventh Annual Food Bank Fundraiser Raises over $9,400
Thanks to the generosity of donating member-owners and employees, we raised a combined total of $9,480.78 in 2026. Thank you!
Fifth Year of Childhood Literacy Campaign Raises Over $100,000 to Support Local Schools
In 2025, the community, SESLOC members and SESLOC employees raised $102,372 to support childhood literacy with the “If You Give a Child a Book…” campaign.

We recently held a holiday fundraiser in our branches and online in support of the Family Care Network. This local nonprofit supports children and youth in foster care, as well as families struggling with homelessness and unhealed trauma in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties this holiday season.

Steve David Earns SESLOC Cares for Community Award for Dedication to Central Coast Veteran’s Museum
We’re partnering with News Channel 12 to honor nonprofit volunteers who make our community thrive. Each month, we’re choosing a different nonprofit and asking them to select a valuable volunteer to receive the SESLOC Cares for Community Award. We’re thrilled to introduce Steve David, a volunteer with the Central Coast Veteran’s Memorial Museum.
Cal Poly Students Learn Practical Skills in SESLOC’s Fourth Summer Internship Program
SESLOC’s fourth internship cycle brought on four Cal Poly students over the summer, giving them practical experience of hands-on projects to benefit the membership.
