Fundraisers for worthy local nonprofits at SESLOC
A special thanks to all who supported The Family Care Network and their Give Joy campaign, which helped children and youth in foster care, as well as families struggling with homelessness and unhealed trauma in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties this holiday season.
We recently partnered with KSBY News to support childhood literacy with the “If You Give a Child a Book…” campaign, and together, we raised over $41,000!
SESLOC hosted a fundraiser for local food banks in May for the second year in a row. SESLOC, employees, and members raised over $14,000 combined for the SLO Food Bank and Food Bank of Santa Barbara County. Each dollar donated buys enough food for 8 meals, thanks to the Food Banks’ network of partners.
In the spirit of “People Helping People,” SESLOC marks National Cybersecurity Awareness Month to help you stay aware of cyber threats.
In the Credit Union spirit of “People Helping People,” we’re launching an Emergency Loan program designed to help members affected by the 2025 U.S. Federal Government Shutdown
