The Direct Deposit Switch service supports direct deposit from alimony and child support payments issued by state or local administrators, and payroll, which covers both traditional employees and gig workers (such as Uber or DoorDash). With connections to over 1,800 platforms payroll and administration platforms, it can provide direct deposit services to more than 85% of U.S. workers and over 1.5 million employers.
How do I access the direct deposit tool?
You can access the Direct Deposit Switch service digitally through SESLOC’s Online Banking. Simply select the three-dot More Links icon [...] in the Menu bar, then select Direct Deposit Switch from the drop-down.
I don't see my employer listed in the Direct Deposit Switch service. Am I eligible to use this tool?
If your employer and payroll service provider are not listed in the Direct Deposit Switch service, you will be prompted to upload documentation to verify your income and employment. Documentation can be a paystub, W-2 form, or 1099 form. SESLOC will notify you when your documents have been reviewed and verified.
How do I establish a direct deposit with this service?
Using the Direct Deposit Switch service is easy and convenient. After you launch the tool in SESLOC Online Banking, select the Get Started button.
Step 1: Select Your Employer
You can use the search bar to quickly find your provider. Providers include employers (like Home Depot or Target), payroll servicing companies used by employers (such as ADP or UKG Pro), gig economy apps (like Uber and Doordash), and government entiries such as the Social Security Administration. You can also select the Employer, Payroll, or Gig tabs to quickly access the most common providers.
Step 2: Log In
After you select your provider you will be prompted to log in. Use your payroll account credentials to securely authenticate.
Step 3: Confirm Details
Select the amount you want deposited, and input your SESLOC account number to confirm.

To set up a direct deposit from your employer, you will need your financial institution’s routing number and your SESLOC account numbers.
Are there minimum or maximum amounts for establishing a direct deposit via this service?
It depends on the payroll provider or employer. If there is a limit, you may not be unable to complete that switch with this service.
Can I deposit just a portion of my paycheck?
Yes, you can allocate either a partial amount in dollars ($) or percentage (%) of the total funds from the paycheck when establishing a direct deposit with this service
How do I cancel, edit or reverse my direct deposit established with the Direct Deposit Switch service?
To make any changes to your direct deposit, simply submit a new Direct Deposit Switch request. If you need to cancel or perform a request that the tool can't perform, please reach out to your employer or payroll provider.

Will I receive a notification when my paycheck has been deposited?
Yes, you can receive notifications when your paycheck is deposited by opting in to Alerts in SESLOC Online Banking. Simply select the three-dot More Links icon [...] in the Menu bar, select Alerts > Subscription Alerts > Transaction Alert, and follow prompts. This alert will notify you when a deposit is made to your account. Learn more about setting alerts.
Can I register more than one employer/payroll provider with the Direct Deposit Switch service?
Yes, you have the option to link more than one payroll provider in the Direct Deposit Switch tool. You can do so by following the same steps taken when setting up your initial direct deposit with the other employer.
What if the Direct Deposit Switch service cannot verify my employment or finds the automated direct deposit switching is disabled for my payroll account?
If your employment is unverified or unable to connect, you will be redirected to fill out an online direct deposit form that will be sent to your employer’s HR department to update your direct deposit settings.

When your online direct deposit form is ready, click on the button to download it as a PDF. You may then send it to your HR/payroll department.

It depends on your employer, but you may get your paycheck up to one day earlier* at SESLOC.
*Early access to direct deposit funds subject to employer and/or payer terms and conditions. SESLOC Credit Union (“Credit Union”) generally makes these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to one (1) day earlier than the scheduled payment date. The Credit Union cannot guarantee early access of a direct deposit payment. Other exceptions may apply.

Yes, your data is safe as the tool uses encryption and tokenization for both the temporary storage of end-user credentials and Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The tools system also has rigorous internal access controls, including role-based access policies, hardware security keys for multifactor authentication, and comprehensive SIEM logging and monitoring to keep you safe.
