In 2023, SESLOC funded $26,015 in Education Grants, supporting 55 Central Coast teachers. Education Grants expand curriculums and support the addition of materials and resources to engage students.
Identity theft is a type of crime where someone obtains another person’s personal information without their permission or knowledge and uses that information to commit fraud or other illegal activities. The personal information that is commonly targeted includes names, addresses, birthdates, Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, and bank account information.
SESLOC hosted the monthly Santa Maria Chamber Mixer on Thursday, June 20 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Chamber members and guests enjoyed networking, appetizers from Testa Catering, door prizes and meeting the new Chamber members. Thank you to the Santa Maria Philharmonic Society for donating concert tickets as raffle prizes and Dr. David Lohman of Straight Back Chiropractic for emceeing the event.

Now through April 19, 2019 SESLOC is celebrating International Credit Union Youth Week by offering fun activities, giveaways and more to help kids learn about the importance of saving. We’ll also waive the $5 membership fee for youth under age 18 when they open a savings account.
