SESLOC ATMs Now Offer $5 and $100 Bills for More Flexibility

SESLOC ATMs Now Offer $5 and $100 Bills for More Flexibility

For years, most ATMs have been predictable: Insert your card, check your balance and get $20 bills from it. If someone needs smaller or larger denominations, they have been forced to go to their financial institution to exchange bills. It was an inconvenient way to manage your cash, especially when smaller bills are more advantageous for your lifestyle.

At SESLOC Credit Union, we’re constantly working to innovate the banking experience for all member-owners. Beginning February 6, 2026, all SESLOC ATMs will now offer $5 bills alongside $20 bills for withdrawal. Additionally, most ATMs will also offer $100 bills for withdrawal (The ATM at Cal Poly campus will continue to dispense only $5 and $20 bills.)

Why are we making the switch? Because $5 bills give you more options to manage your day-to-day cash needs. Whether you have a lower balance, need to drop cash in the tip jar, pay for parking, or just split the bill at your favorite taco spot, having smaller bills handy makes life a whole lot easier.

No matter where you are on the Central Coast, you’re never far away from a convenient SESLOC ATM. With 11 locations ranging from Morro Bay to Santa Maria, we make getting cash and managing your budget easy. Check out all our locations to find the nearest one to you. In addition, your credit union membership gives you surcharge-free access to your cash at 55 local and 30,000 nationwide CO-OP ATMs. You can find all the locations on the CO-OP Credit Unions website. Plus, members at SESLOC Level Up levels 2 and 3 get additional benefits at non-SESLOC and non-CO-OP ATMs. Visit the Level Up page to learn more about those benefits.

At SESLOC, we’re pleased to make this change to help your financial journey be simple and practical — like a good neighbor should. When you visit any of the SESLOC ATMs on the Central Coast, simply follow the prompts on screen to select your preferred denomination(s). It’s another way SESLOC members save with the area’s oldest credit union.
