Seventh Annual Food Bank Fundraiser Raises over $9,400

by Team SESLOC

Once again, SESLOC was proud to team with the SLO Food Bank and Food Bank of Santa Barbara County in 2026 to help raise funds for those experiencing food insecurity in our community. Now in our seventh year, our donating member-owners, employees, and the community came together to raise $9,480.78 for the food banks. Thank you for supporting our food banks and helping our neighbors through food security.  Each dollar buys enough food for four nutritious meals, thanks to the Food Banks’ network of partners

Many in our community rely on the support of our local food banks for access to wholesome nutrition. Across our area, 1 in 6 people in San Luis Obispo County and 1 in 3 in Santa Barbara county are in need of food assistance. Many of those in need are seniors and children. Beyond distributing food and finding creative ways to bridge the hunger gap, our food banks also provide nutritional education to promote healthier communities. Thank you for your continued support of our community.

SESLOC at the SLO Food Bank's Breakfast Bag Build Off

To celebrate our collaboration, Team SESLOC participated in the SLO Food Bank’s Breakfast Bag Build Off along with other community partners. This annual event helps the food bank create Summer Breakfast Bags, each containing 21 days’ worth of nutritious breakfasts for children experiencing food insecurity while school is out. This year, SLO Food Bank expects to deliver over 6,500 of bags to children across the county — funded in part by donations from the SESLOC Food Bank Fundraiser.

Thank you for your generosity this year!
