We’re partnering with News Channel 12 to honor nonprofit volunteers who make our community thrive. Each month, we’re choosing a different nonprofit and asking them to select a valuable volunteer to receive the SESLOC Cares for Community Award. We are thrilled to introduce our latest recipient, David Cook, from Community Partners in Caring.
Meet David Cook, SESLOC Community Cares honoree. Since 2021, David has volunteered with Community Partners in Caring, driving clients to medical appointments and assisting with daily tasks.
In 2023, he was honored with the presidential award for 600 volunteer hours and 7,500 miles driven. Loneliness and isolation are huge mental health issues, especially for seniors and David is able to help them and be a listening ear.
Thank you, David, for your incredible dedication and service to our community. SESLOC Community Cares — honoring those who make a difference.
