Using the Mobile App

How to Make a Check Deposit:

  1. Select Deposit in the menu.
  2. Select the account you want to make the deposit to.
  3. Confirm the amount.
  4. Add the image of the front of the check — the image will be captured automatically. 
  5. Add the image of the back of the check — make sure you sign your name and write “For Mobile Deposit Only” in the endorsement field before taking the picture.
  6. Select Deposit.

You will see a confirmation message and receive an email. The transaction will be available under the History tab of the Deposits menu, as well as in the transaction history of the account you deposited to. Please note that check images may take a business day to appear.

While funds are made available immediately, checks are still subject to review. If the transaction is rejected or requires an adjustment, you’ll receive a notice stating why. We recommend you write “deposited” and the date on the front of the check and retain it for 14 days before destroying it in a secure manner, such as shredding.

Viewing Your Mobile Check Deposit History:

There are two ways to view and search your mobile app check deposit history. On the mobile app’s Deposit Check screen, select the History tab. On mobile or desktop, select the account you deposited to view the transaction history. 

Deposit Limits:

There is a maximum daily mobile deposit limit of $10,000. The limit indicator on the Deposit Check Screen indicates how much of the daily limit you have available after depositing checks. If the deposit limit is reached, the check will be denied at the time you attempt to make the mobile deposit.
