July 1st is the fiscal new year for many nonprofits and the perfect time to bring on new board members and officers. This past May, we held a fundraiser for the SLO Food Bank and the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County. SESLOC, employees, and members raised a combined $13,217. Every dollar donated creates 7 meals, that’s over 92,000 nutritious, wholesome meals going back into our community to help end hunger!
We’re thrilled to announce that Lompoc High School recently enrolled in EverFi’s Financial Scholars program. SESLOC is the proud sponsor of the program, which provides free, practical financial education to Central Coast high school students.
