SESLOC employees saved 6.1 tons of carbon dioxide from entering our local air during the first quarter of 2023 by using alternative commute methods like riding a bike, taking the bus or carpooling, and telecommuting. Reducing our carbon footprint is an important part of preserving our community for generations to come, and we’re also excited to announce that we’re once again supporting Rideshare’s Bike Month in May, helping to promote alternative commuting in our community. Take your bike to work on Friday, May 19 2023, and be sure to stop by our Bike Breakfast in front of our San Luis Obispo branch between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. for special treats.
