For five years, SESLOC has proudly sponsored EverFi’s Financial Scholars program, providing Central Coast high school students with practical, online financial education curriculum on topics like budgeting, credit, taxes, financing higher education, and more. Here are the program results from the 2023-2024 school year and the impact the program has made on students over the last half decade.
Financial Scholars Completed 3,330 Hours of Learning During the 2022-2023 School Year

The Financial Scholars program proved to be a valuable addition to teachers’ lesson plans as the COVID-19 pandemic continued to disrupt the 2020-2021 school year, forcing classrooms to juggle remote, in-person, and hybrid learning.

During the 2019-2020 school year, the COVID-19 pandemic drove an unprecedented level of school closures, especially on the Central Coast.
