California’s Middle Class Tax Relief Payments to Start This Week

The Middle Class Tax Refund (MCTR) is a one-time payment to provide inflation relief to Californians, and payments will be sent in batches starting Friday, October 7, 2022.  Payments are based on your 2020 tax filing, and if you efiled and used direct deposit, you can expect to receive your payment via direct deposit before the end of October.  If you filed by paper or meet additional criteria, you can expect to receive a MCTR debit card, which will be mailed in batches between October 25, 2022, and January 15, 2023.

In this role, Melinda is responsible for initiating new business growth and overseeing business member relationships, with a focus on Santa Maria and Northern Santa Barbara County, plus the five cities area of San Luis Obispo County.

Thank You for Helping End Hunger in Our Community!

This past May, we held a fundraiser for the SLO Food Bank and the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County. SESLOC, employees, and members raised a combined $13,217. Every dollar donated creates 7 meals, that’s over 92,000 nutritious, wholesome meals going back into our community to help end hunger!
