Beerwood is the longtime dream of husband and wife team Alex and Annie, who both worked at this location previously, and knew the potential existed for a much-needed gathering spot for the Baywood community. They were joined by Blake, who led us through the construction phase, and generally makes sure everything is running smoothly. Rounding out the group is Troy, who brews the beer and takes care of the financials, and Liana, who helps out with social media/merch/events. We would have not gotten this far without so much love from the community, who not only helped us financially but also provided us with so many of the plants for the Beerwood garden. And we’re lucky to have so many local artists contribute to the vibe as well. Lastly, a special thank you to Rachel with Dot &Cross Studio who designed our logo and provided the hand-painted signs. We hope you love Beerwood as much as we do!

The Future is Financial: SESLOC Educates High School Students About the Importance of Budgeting
On Monday, May 20, SESLOC Credit Union hosted a hands-on, real-world living and budgeting simulation event for 70 students at Central Coast New Tech High School in Nipomo. For this event, SESLOC partnered with Bite of Reality, an app that presents real-life scenarios of maintaining a budget, to improve the financial health and wellness of the Central Coast.
Savings are insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. government agency.
