Our namesake hails from the story of Momotaro, which translates to Peach Boy. It is a story that Mateo’s grandmother, Yuriko, would read to him as a child. Whenever she read it to him, it always brought on a feeling of comfort. When choosing our name it was really a no-brainer that we wanted to be able to convey to our guests a feeling of comfort as they enjoy our ramen. Momotaro Ramen was created as a necessity and executed with kokoro. This means heart and soul…we are doing just that. Putting our hearts and souls into every dish.~ Kokoro Kara, Mateo and Brittney

Thank You For Supporting Our Local Food Banks!
SESLOC hosted a fundraiser for local food banks in May for the fourth year in a row. SESLOC, employees, and members raised over $15,000 combined for the SLO Food Bank and Food Bank of Santa Barbara County. Each dollar donated buys enough food for 8 meals, thanks to the Food Banks’ network of partners.
